Roll Number Slip
Two slips per examination, delivered to your portal account. You cannot sit a paper without the printed slip and your CNIC.
Where to get yours
Slips are delivered to the student portal and you are told by email when they are there. Sign in, print both, and check every detail against your own record before examination day — a mistake found the night before is a phone call, and a mistake found at the gate is a missed paper.
Checking a slip is genuine
Every slip carries a QR code and can be verified by anyone, free. A centre superintendent checks it at the gate; a candidate can check their own.
What the regulations say
- 3.1
A roll number is allotted when the Board publishes the examination, and not before. Two slips are issued for each course:
- one for the written examination
- one for the practical examination
- 3.2
The two examinations are held on different dates and, where the Board so decides, at different venues. Each slip carries its own roll number, date, time and venue. A candidate must read both.
- 3.3
Slips are delivered to the candidate's portal account and notified by email. A candidate must print the slip and bring it to the examination.
- 3.4
No candidate is admitted to an examination without both the printed roll number slip and their original CNIC or B-Form. A photocopy or a photograph of either is not accepted.
- 3.5
Every slip carries a QR code and may be verified online by anyone. If a cancelled or altered slip is presented, the Board's record is what stands.
