Computer-Based Assessment Centres
Candidates sit their assessment on computers at your premises. In addition to the standard requirements, you declare your computer lab and supply two photographs of it.
Requirements for Every Centre
The same as institute affiliation — legal status, premises, staff and the six mandatory documents.

Minimum requirement
A computer-based assessment centre must have at least 20 working computers. The Board sends an invigilation team to conduct examinations at your premises, and a sitting of fewer than 20 candidates does not cover the cost of that visit.
Centre Tiers
The Board divides computer-based centres into tiers by how many working machines they have. A tier describes size for the Board's planning — it is not a mark of quality, and the fee is the same in every tier.
Tier A
100 computers or more
Tier B
50 computers or more
Tier C
25 computers or more
Tier D
20 computers or more
A computer-based centre must have at least 20 working computers. Beyond that the machines need no particular specification, only that they are in good working order, and there is no minimum room size — the requirement is sufficient sitting space, confirmed on the verification visit.
Two Photographs
Both are compulsory. They let the Board check your declaration at the desk before a team travels.

One photograph taken so that the length and width of the lab are both visible — a corner view usually works best.
